Roy LaManna Co-Founded Vydia in 2013, leveraging 15 years of prior music industry and
video marketing experience. Serving as CEO, he drives the direction and vision of the company, ensuring that Vydia users have the latest technology and superior customer service to manage their video content. Before launching Vydia, LaManna founded PR and Marketing firm, Trendsetter Media & Marketing, and worked as a Video Commissioner for the Island Def Jam Group. In 2016, LaManna received the honor of being named to NJBIZ’s 40 under 40 list, which recognizes the state’s most dynamic young leaders.
Mark Allen Co-Founded Vydia in 2013 and is responsible for building the infrastructure of the Vydia Platform. He took the platform from the concept stage to returning $1M in revenue within the first year and now leads a team of developers that continues to scale the technology. Prior to Vydia, he worked with some of the largest companies in the entertainment space, including Universal Music Group and Radio Disney. In 2012 he launched the web application that would go on to power the social media campaigns behind the first and second annual Radio Disney Music Awards and tens of thousands of other social campaigns worldwide. Allen studied Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology while attending the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
As CTO, Ken Leland is in charge of building and scaling Vydia’s web and mobile services. Prior to working at Vydia, Leland developed and grew a VOIP SaaS company to 15MM in annual revenue. Ken actively supports the local community as a visiting professor at Brookdale Community College, an industry advisor to the Freehold Regional High School district, and a hackathon mentor and judge for NYU and Rutgers. He holds an MS from Stanford University and a BS from Rutgers University, both in Computer Science.
As the Director of Finance, Rachel Jin commands Vydia’s financial strategy and operations, including equity and debt financing, financial planning and analysis, setting metrics, KPIs and optimizing treasury processes, as well as financial reporting. She advises on all growth initiatives and execution of the financial plan to scale the company. Prior to Vydia, Jin had 11 years of international finance experience in various finance functions including planning and analysis, projections and valuation, audit and risk management. Jin led a $50MM IPO project for a resource company as CFO. Jin is a CPA with an MBA in Finance from Rutgers University and a BS in Accounting from Macquarie University, Australia.
As the Director of Product Engineering, Murty Korada supervises the technical road map, driving development of new features and services offered on the Vydia platform. He brings over 20 years of executive business and technology management experience, specializing in product analysis and development. Korada holds Master’s degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
As the Director of Data Science, Rick Saporta heads execution of Vydia’s data strategy. This includes providing material insights and enhanced decision making to both the company and its users by leveraging predictive models and the latest in deep learning. Prior to Vydia, Saporta founded the Data Science department at music & video distribution company, The Orchard, which played a vital role in the company’s acquisition by Sony in 2015. Saporta holds an MBS in Data Analytics and a BA in Mathematics and Psychology from Rutgers University, where he is also on the Board of Industry Advisors for the Professional Science Master's program, offering guidance for the next generation of Data Science practitioners.
As the Director of Rights Management, Mike Ceglio serves as Vydia’s technical liaison for partnered video publishers, managing the process for asserting, protecting, and managing the rights of video creators. Prior to Vydia, Ceglio was a Team Lead at YouTube where he was responsible for overseeing rights management operations for music publishing rights. Ceglio received a BS in Music Merchandising and a minor in Marketing from Hofstra University.
As the Director of Marketing, Jenna Gaudio drives Vydia’s digital presence, brand development, and internal/external communications. She specializes in accelerating companies in the growth stage and oversees Vydia’s advantageous internship program. Prior to Vydia, Gaudio built and executed a marketing strategy for a NJ Video Ad Tech company that led to a $33 million acquisition in 2015. Gaudio received a BA in Communication from the Honors Division at Monmouth University, where she remains an active mentor.
As the Director of Operations, Stephen Dworkin oversees the Publishing, Distribution and Customer Service divisions at Vydia. Prior to Vydia, Dworkin was a trusted colleague at LaManna’s first company, Trendsetter Media & Marketing, and assisted with the seamless launch of Vydia. Dworkin received a BA in Television & Video Production from Hofstra University.
As a Senior Mobile Engineer, Steve Potter oversees development and design of the Vydia mobile app. Potter has developed products ranging from robots to backend database systems to, of course, mobile apps. Prior to Vydia, he led app development at VEVO, whose apps serve billions of streams to millions of phones, consoles, and TVs. Potter received a BS in Computer Science from Virginia Tech.
