BET Jams – The Only Network that’s all Hip-Hop, Nonstop.

You may have noticed a slight change while flipping through the channels in the past few days. MTV Jams is now moving forward as BET Jams. Vydia can get you there. Distribute today for a chance of seeing your video on the new network!

The switch happened Monday when MTV Jams took to Instagram with this picture and caption “All dynasties must come to an end.” Both MTV and BET are owned by Viacom so we shouldn’t expect any drastic changes. The channel will continue to feature hip-hop and urban music videos. The network has a weekly “Jam of the Week” which is announced on Sundays, with the video chosen receiving extended play throughout the week.

BET Jams’ playlist will be airing more music videos than channels like VH1 Soul and MTV Hits. We can expect the same programming as MTV Jams, such as the real hip-hop and urban videos we are used to seeing on the channel. This comes as good news and hopefully we can expect a return of 106 & Park..

Be sure to keep an eye out for the 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards airing on October 13 for details on the name change and network news.
