In just three short days music lovers around the world will rejoice and tune in to watch the most coveted music award show there is, the 60th Annual Grammy Awards. This year’s show will be packed with a variety of A-list celebrities like Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, P!nk, and Bruno Mars who will go head-to-head to see who goes home with the prestigious golden gramophone. First up, we have one of our utmost talented R&B creators, Daniel Caesar, who received TWO 2018 Grammy nominations this year: ‘Best R&B Album’ for his latest album Freudian and ‘Best R&B Performance’ for his performance of “Get You”. Caesar launched his music career back in 2015 slowly releasing different tracks online and since then, it has quickly skyrocketed with the release of his single “Get You” garnering millions of views. Daniel Caesar’s massive success in 2017 earned him a spot on Pandora’s top artists to watch in 2018 and earned him 4.1M monthly Spotify listeners. 2018 Grammy Nomination: Best Rock Performance

Next we have the widely talented, late Chris Cornell. Cornell, a true Vydia rockstar, had the power to move an audience with his enthralling and unique voice. Apart of popular bands like Soundgarden and Audioslave, Cornell’s success quickly grew as a frontman and later on, a solo creator. His amazing talents haven’t gone unnoticed and landed him a 2018 Grammy nomination for ‘Best Rock Performance’ of his song “The Promise”. However, this isn’t Cornell’s first time around the block when it comes to the Grammys, in fact, he’s received 15 nominations and 2 wins throughout the course of his lifetime. Vydia sensations, Marcus and Jean Baylor of The Baylor Project, have proven that love and collaboration could lead to countless opportunities in both life and music scoring them TWO 2018 Grammy nominations for ‘Best Jazz Vocalist Album’ and ‘Best Traditional R&B Performance’. The Baylor Project’s current album, The Journey, stems from their shared background in gospel, jazz, R&B, blues and soul. Singer-songwriter, producer, and Vydia star PJ Morton, is a versatile creator who’s amazing talent earned him a 2018 Grammy nomination of ‘Best R&B Album’ for Gumbo. PJ Morton broke out into the scene in the early 2000’s and he’s seen success ever since. Receiving 6 Grammy nominations throughout the course of his career, PJ Morton is certainly a viable candidate at this year’s Grammy Awards.
