The city of Chicago has been buzzing about a brand new rap group that’s quickly made their mark on the local music scene. Meet Trenchmobb, the Windy city’s most promising rap crew led by Sosa Corleone and JR007. The young duo first starting gaining traction with their first single “Take Off” in February 2017. After dropping their debut album, Be Home Soon, in the same year, the crew’s catchy melodies and undeniable beats bolstered their success beyond Chicago’s city-limits and onto a national stage.
With multiple video premieres on WorldStarHipHop including Coming Home (259MM views), Zooted (1.2MM views), and their massive hit Mona Lisa (1.9MM views), Trenchmobb shows no signs of slowing down. While Trenchmobb is currently tearing up the stages in Atlanta as a featured act in the A3C Festival Showcase, they took the time to tell Vydia more about their journey from the streets of Chicago to the stars of WorldStarHipHop and the secret behind their rapid rise to success.
