When it comes to monetizing through Vydia, one of the things we can do is help create artist Vevo channels. By uploading your new release to our site, we connect your visual content to the fine folks over at Vevo for processing and within the given time frame, you have your own channel. There have been some questions coming in as to how to maintain the Vevo page, so each week we are focusing on one of our frequently asked questions and providing step-by-step answers. This week we are talking about adding images on Vevo.
Q: How do I add images to my Vevo Channel?
A: In an attempt to make our site, Vydia.com, more user friendly, we are continuously thinking up new ways to make monetizing and distributing music videos even easier. A common issue we’ve seen was the confusion on where to upload artwork for your page. Remember, with Vevo, there is no username or login available to anyone, we don’t even have one. Think about it more like iTunes rather than YouTube in the way that no one has an iTunes login to upload content. Vevo channels (and the feed to the YouTube@Vevo account) are manually created and updated by their staff. Any changes you may have, such as video description or biography information, can be sent through a support ticket on support.danvassallo.wpengine.com, and we will have Vevo process it for you.
To add images, artists are now able to upload right on the release to our site, all in the same spot! See below the step by step guide to upload images right within the release to get on your Vevo channel!
